In a transformative endeavour, Now Technologies was approached by Betfair to overhaul their telecommunications infrastructure particularly focusing on creating a best-in-class Teleconferencing & Video Conferencing solution for their office. The initiative was centred on addressing pivotal aspects of their telecommunications system, namely the integration of industry-best meeting room features, boosting video and audio quality, and streamlining content sharing.

Challenges

Betfair faced issues that impeded their workflow and communication efficiency when it came to meetings. Key issues included inconsistent audio and video quality across various devices, cumbersome content sharing options, and inefficiencies in hybrid meeting experiences. Additionally, the disparity in communication tools for in-office and remote staff members created a fragmented work environment.

Solution

Now Technologies, with its expertise in video & teleconferencing technology, designed a bespoke solution for Betfair meeting rooms. Now Technologies coordinated the scoping and solution delivery of Microsoft Teams & full video conferencing hardware kits, including providing an Audio engineer to inspect the meeting spaces and recommend the correct ceiling and table microphone placement for each.

PWN integrated a system enabling direct guest join capabilities, simplifying access to meetings for external participants and promoting a seamless Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) experience. This facilitated effortless collaboration, irrespective of the participants' locations.‍

With the help of an Audio technician, Now Technologies worked on providing consitent audio and video quality in each meeting room, eliminating the need for constant adjustments based on the speaker's device. Microsoft Teams delivers advanced, intelligent audio and video experiences with noise suppression to help everyone participate as if they were in the same space, whether in the office or remote, experiencing crystal-clear audio and high-definition video.

This technology enabled the orchestration of impromptu meetings and enhanced the visibility of in-Hub participants to remote attendees, thereby fostering a more inclusive and engaged meeting atmosphere.
